This week saw a new version of our school’s traditional Vocational Fair, which brought together more than 15 institutions of higher education, including the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Universidad del Desarrollo, Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Culinary and the Chilean Navy, among others. In addition, we had the participation of four schools in the area with more than 200 students.
During the day, they were able to visit the different stands, talk to representatives of each institution and attend various talks that allowed them to learn more about the different careers available, encouraging an informed and reflective vocational decision.
In addition to learning about the traditional academic offerings, students had the opportunity to learn about new careers, such as International Business, Global Business, among other options, which respond to the demands of an increasingly globalised and changing world.
This activity was part of the Vocational Impulse Week, in which senior students participated throughout the week in activities specially designed to help them learn more about their interests, talents and future projections.
Both the fair and the vocational week were organised by our Career Coordinator, Sofía Oyaneder, whom we thank for her dedication and commitment to this important stage in the formation of our students.
